Bummer...TXN target increase news must have leaked out early
 
That TXN headline hit with about two minutes to go to the bell, I canceled all my orders in time. You have to watch constantly, even after you've sent your orders.

Now, the OMX news didn't show up anywhere until a few minutes AFTER the open, except of course to some privileged few. That one hurt a bit.

Thanks Shreddog; what service were those headlines from?

Today 3 long, a win, a loss, and a scratch, +94

TXN felt contrite and refunded some of yesterday's loss, but was offset a bit by MER, who was pretty whippy.

Briefing.com Trade the News also had something at 9:25 as well. Pretty cheap subscriptions vs your loss. I learned this the hard way as well.
 
Traveling in the East this week, Great Neck and Boston. Had issues with new laptop and my auto program (stupid Vista, should have known better). I'll be back in Vegas on Monday, just in case anyone missed me, LOL.
