The Opening Orders Thread

Used envelopes of 1.1 for buys & .2 for sells, then actually tightened some of the sells to get some fills....also added a couple of extra stocks to the list.

7 fills short 6 wins & 1 loss (DOW)

I'm guessing everyone had a good (if not great) OPG day based on what I saw seemed like most stocks worked. Maybe some good MOC today too.

Good weekend to all

OK, great day for Bright Traders.

I had 19 fills, made $3,000. My nephew Bobby made $10,000. Our bigger players made as much as $30,000 this morning.

(Kinda funny). Due to the excess traffic, position windows were updating a bit slow. I went down one by one for 10 stocks, then cancelled my orders....then I scrolled down a couple minutes later on my position window and had another 9 stocks with open positions. My auto retrace worked perfectly (good thing)...but then I had to get back to covering the balance manually, LOL.

The autoretrace is set to cover half the shares, whether 2,000 or 3,000. Glad it worked, getting too old to do this manually, LOL.

Don

5 short fills (2 on smaller test positions), 4 wins 1 scratch, +772, 6500 shares

Had a pretty good feeling that it would be a decent day, especially given the giddy chirping pre-market on CNBC.

Have a good weekend all. Seems like its finally warming up here in the midwest...

3 fills / 3 shorts / + 476.00

widened my spread from .75+/- to .85 +/-...probably cut down on fills...
