The Opening Orders Thread

2 short, +187, 2100 shares

I too got out of CAT too soon. But he's been one mean kitty since converting to hybrid, so I don't fool with him if the market is not running in my favor.
 
3 Fills all Long -.23, +.19, +.5 basically a break even. Wondering if Share size of the opening print has a influence on how long you hold? cause I got out way to early on one. should of been a +.70 or @ least +.50.I also cancel all my orders when I get filled especially when a fill does not go my way. Any comments would be great. :0.

I personally don't use the size of the opening print to determine an exit strategy; once I'm filled, I let the current conditions dictate staying in or getting out.

You mentioned that you cancel orders after you get filled; are you sending your orders in as "day" orders? You should use the "OPG" time in force designation, not "day", that way any orders not filled on the opening print are automatically canceled for you.
