2 Fills +$275 - HAL and GE, a bit of a "rut" - but at least not losing any money. Boy, glad I missed the market yesterday, I'm pretty sure I would have been fading that rally, LOL.

Downgrade on LEH at 1:30AM on Trade the News. Looks like there was another downgrade after the open (that probably was before but didn't get reported).
Well, this morning after helping out several traders with their opening plans, I forgot to change my sell envelope back down and got no fills.
I manually put in GE at 38.62, it opened at 38.60 and dropped 30 cents ....darn..."woulda" been good...my stupid mistake.
Oh well, heading out after the close for our Traders Retreat on the Colorado River - should be fun - about 50 traders and a bunch of spouses.

Yes GE was goood...too bad you just miss GE Don...with .2 sell envelope my original sell was at 38.61 & I updated to 38.68 & added another layer at 38.55 to get the fill...1 fill short GE for a nice win

I trade the open using a slightly different method. I just look for stocks that typically gap at the open and move toward the previous close a certain amount and scalp a pre-defined target. I use an automated system my firm programmed for me for both entries and exits.
After starting with 100 shares per symbol and donating $600 to the market working out the bugs for the past few months, the program is now working as it intended.
I'm only targeting highly liquid stocks.
Here are my results for today:
4 stocks, 350 shares traded (entry+exit), $43.50 profit.
