The Opening Orders Thread

1 fill / 1 long / + 303.00

- .24 / +1.51 % from last nights close

didn't widen envelopes but had level (1) not send buys as they were above last nights close...

arb was there in spades...+30,000...

when one idea goes dry ...the other rocks...

I don't doubt the oltimers at all, but I was just wondering. Good job.

Don :)

Would you say the huge openings in many of the dow stocks occurred due to the large gap in the SP or due to option expiration?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Great witching today, about +$30,000 on a lot of fills. One of my programs that sends my orders crashed as they were streaming in and I didn't have time to get it up again in time, missed some nice fills, probably another 5-7k worth.

Mainly expiration, but of course having the Spoos up was an additional benefit.

I figured you would lead the pack, good job ("we are not worthy"), LOL.

Have a good weekend,

Hello everyone, I'm a first time poster here.
I've been doing openings on and off for some time, though not in a systematic way.

I have a spreadsheet with a list of 82 stocks, but I send orders out manually, which sucks and usually only have time to send out orders for about 30 stocks.

My question is for EASTSIDE,

I have JNJ on my list as well. I didn't have time to send orders for it, but with .5 sell envelope, (selling JNJ at 65.49) I would have gotten a fill.

How did you get a fill with 1.2 envelope? or am i missing something?

Thanks
