The common mistake you are making is you concentrate on the feature list and think the more features the better. With a goal to implement a profitable trading system (and not "to explore all features"), you'll ever use only a small subset of features in any comprehensive charting/trading platform. The most important thing is features present actually work and are implemented in a robust way.
For the sake of simplicity, imagine you need a simple moving average. Once you are familiar with the platform, it will take you 15-20 minutes to implement and test this indicator yourself. However, if simple moving average implementation in the platform has problems (for example, it breaks on a missing bar) it may take you hours to find the problem and weeks or months to get the platform developers to recognise and fix it.
So, what you really need is not a platform with most features, but a platform whose developers strongly prioritise fixing known problems over adding new features and have dedication and manpower to actually do so.

Cute, please don't start a fight over who is working for whom in my thread 
as a matter of fact Amibroker is nothing like this one, a very simple difference is that with Amibroker you can't write custom system, perform auto-trading, and even if so is possible with Amibroker, it is not a sophisticated and expandable as this one is..
Also all the above mentioned toolboxes don't have Neural Network modeling capability or price noise filters, or zero-lag trendlines
Maybe i am not comparing it with the right alternatives, Neuroshell might be a good alternative? but their company seems really weird, my feeling has always been that Neuroshell is run by Ghosts, the way their company looks, their site, the lady with the wings... i don't know .
Comparing between Neuroshell, Tradecision, and TradingSolutions, at first glance Tradecision seems to be the most appealing, professionally made, and feature Rich
Maybe i would ask for some sort of money back guarantee, and buy it to give it a shot, since so far i am not able to get a useful enough feedback about it that will help me get biased to one side, either buy it or drop it

if you are some sort of Neuronal Net "Guru" sure maybe this is the right thing for you (I dont know) but anything else plus a lot more you can do with Amibroker for a fraction of the price, if you dont think so then you have simply not used it or are unaware of its speed and flexibilities.

As a matter of fact i have tested Amibroker some years ago, i always looked at it as a fast cheaper MetaStock alternative (aka a VISUAL toolbox)
I have once tried to write an Automatic script using that tool (Amibroker) but i found it to be way less advanced than say Tradestation or eSignal,
Maybe the situation has changed now? have they added any new stuff to it? have the program been completely remade from scratch in a way that made it way more advanced? or does it still fall in the Metastock alternative category?

lol, I assume you have actually not tested anything about Amibroker otherwise you would not make such a statement. Maybe you could show me a back test platform that can be purchased off the shelf that is faster than Amibroker? Even RightEdge or SmartQuant (running on .Net in VB or C#) cannot compete in terms of speed. Optimization algos are also blazing fast. In terms of charting (if you need it) you can customize more than with ANY other platform. Please tell me what part you did not like other than that you are lazy to learn and have zero clue about programming. Seriously, a blanket statement like yours makes you look incredibly dumb.

How come you assumed i did not know much about programming? you don't even know me, and sadly you are deadly wrong, because i know nothing BUT programming, i am a Software specialist with a Masters Degree, so i guess that makes me know a lot about programming
My experience with Amibroker is that it did not support modular programming and Automatic trading, if i am mistaken please enlighten me, works better than calling me a dummy

Amibroker supports auto trading as of a year ago, I know that much about it. It's fast because the code is so compact that it runs in the CPU cache memory, it might be faster than TickZoom, there's been no comparison that I know of. I think you can program it in C++ or something like it so there should not be much limitation on how you write your scripts... I paid for a license for Amibroker at one point but the direction I was going changed a little bit and I never used it for anything...
Regarding Neural Nets my guess is that they never panned out quite as well as people hoped. There have been traders way back in the 90's that could consistently outperform the indexes with nn's but there are other things that far outperform the best nn solutions I'm pretty sure... that is probably one reason you don't get much response to your poll, we're not using nn's at all let alone that particular software you ask about...

Well, your arguments sound zero convincing. You sound (and probably are) a shill for Tradecision. Why? In your first post you ask others what they think about Tradecision and how it stacks up vs the comp. Suddenly you seem to know everything about this app and how all the other programs are worse?
About Amibroker you are as factually incorrect as it gets. Yes I dont know about Neural models and have no interest because it has been proven to not be applicable to add value to financial trading, but everything else you said about Ami is incorrect. I have been using it for bits and pieces in my work and think I can speak of its capabilities.

*** I would claim it beats in sophistication and speed almost any other retail product in this category. So don't come out with blanket statements. State exactly what is better about Tradecision than Ami and we can add value to YOUR thread.
