So not only are the Republicans innocent, they are not even Republicans and the only real fault here is the Democrat who committed the grave crime of campaigning for a Democrat which is of course worse than fraud.
The situation is bad because of what Republicans did to 'win' the election, your spin is whatabout nonsense.

Let's take a look at reality:
- The North Carolina State Board of Elections is so partisan that they could never be trusted by the public to investigate election fraud allegations with any level of integrity. Their past investigations have been partisan shambles and courts have dismissed every single on of their investigation results without exception over the past few years. The State Election Board has no transparency, no meeting minutes, and has failed regularly to comply with court rulings.
- Due to this every media outlet in the state has demanded that the entire State Board of Elections be dismissed and a proper entity investigate the election fraud allegations in the 9th district race.
- The investigation of mail-in ballots in the 9th district race should be done by prosecutors and law enforcement officials in the opinion of most people in our state.
- Another entity, not the State Board of Elections, should certify the results of the 9th district elections by January 1st. Note that courts have already ordered that the entire state board of elections to be dismissed and removed. In October, a three-judge panel ruled the board unconstitutional. A stay in the ruling that allowed the board to operate as-is is set to expire Monday, December 3rd.
- As I stated earlier if there is election fraud found involving mail-in ballots in the 9th district IMO those involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Note my position regarding election fraud is unwavering - I don't care which party perpetuated it -- it needs to be prosecuted and not ignored.
Purely subjective nonsense, who cares about 'partisan', we are talking about hard evidence of fraud.

Nobody is arguing against that but you pretending that the bias of the board is relevant in the case as opposed to the wide scale fraud perpetrated by Republicans - that's nothing but weak whataboutism.
The bottom line is that every media entity is stating that any investigation of fraud by the state election board would not be trusted and would be overturned in court. The bias of the board ensures that no justice will be achieved in this fraud case. It is time for proper prosecutors and law enforcement to investigate election fraud - not a biased committee.

Have you ever employed such standards for your voter fraud conspiracies? How many voter fraud convictions have happened in the last decade in % terms?
Let's take a look at the primary issue with voter fraud investigations. A voter makes a complaint about fraud, it is investigated by the State Board of Elections. If the fraud allegation involves a Democrat (in North Carolina) then no fraud is ever found. If the complaint involves a Republican then the State Elections Board spends endless hours driving an investigation.
The federal prosecutor in Wilmington recently indicted over twenty people for voter fraud; most have already plead guilty. Every one of those cases was previously dismissed by the State Elections Board with no serious investigation.
Now the federal prosecutor has demanded that 44 counties in our state hand over all their voting records. His office has stated they expect a significant number of indictments to come out of the investigation.
The issue in North Carolina and other states is that prosecutors and law enforcement should investigate voter fraud, not biased election boards.
First, give me the citations for those twenty cases of voter fraud, I would forward that to the ACLU so they can update their list. 20 sounds like a lot.
Second, you are confusing voter fraud with electoral fraud and you also miss the part that 2 Republicans on the board agreed that it was fraud. Something happened there, otherwise there are plenty of other close races where they could have made an issue out of.
The indictments and coverage has been discussed in detail in the politics section in ET in recent months. It's hard to believe that you are ignorant of the indictments since you were involved in the threads. You are just being deliberately thick. Reasonable people can use the ET search function to easily search for and find the information.
And let me state once again -- as outlined in the posted articles, NONE of the people appointed to the Board by Democratic Governor Cooper are Republicans. He appointed his political allies to fill the four "Republican" slots on the board. This is why a panel of three judges ruled in the October the State Elections Board is unconstitutional and must be dismissed by Monday, December 3rd.
Actually there are two close races in North Carolina for 2018 that Democrats won that the state election board refused to investigate allegations of voter fraud involving absentee / mail-in ballots. This is why nobody trusts the biased state elections board - which is the only state entity in North Carolina allowed to investigate election fraud. We need further involvement of federal prosecutors to sort out the continual problems plus the immediate move of power to investigate election fraud changed from the state election board to county/state prosecutors & law enforcement.

I have caught you many times confusing voter fraud with electoral fraud, you could have simply given a link instead of complaining that I don't read every obscure post on the forum.
No need to trust the board given the evidence we can see suggests there was fraud.
