Walmart knows how you get rich is to get on the gov't dole.
Those people are just intermediaries to get gov't provided cards - that they then go spend at Walmart. If the gov't cut those pay cards to people, not only would those people scream - Walmart would scream.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. had the worst sales start to a month in seven years as payroll-tax increases hit shoppers already battling a slow economy, according to internal e-mails obtained by Bloomberg News.
