Try reading what the Founders wrote and you’ll understand their concerns. An armed populace is a deterrent against many threats.

Regardless of what you and yoniur leftist friends wish, the 2nd amendment stands and has been kept intact by the Supreme Court.

A militia is a potential deterrence, a bunch of hicks like you and the mall ninjas with no training, or recent training, discipline or ability to co-ordinate is an inconvenience. Gloves off against a modern military force you will just die in a snap.

At a time when regular folks that had never wanted or desired to buy a gun are buying guns because they fear for their lives, the Democrats think it is a great idea to try to eliminate the NRA. Lol How stupid can these people be?

As for taking arms away from people, I wonder what the people from Venezuela, Iran, China, and Cuba think about that idea. Once the left takes over power, they are willing to let tens of thousands of people die, to stay in power at any cost, like it has happened in the aforementioned countries - and we have seen in this country as the left has done anything possible to suppress the use of HQC against the CCP virus causing the deaths of untold tens of thousands of people only hoping that Trump would lose in November. They have blood on their hands.

This would not be possible if the people are disarmed.

It's nonsense militarily to ignore the preamble so not what the founders intended. Individuals without training to work in disciplined co-ordination (militia) have on average no chance whatsoever against trained military units.

After the Constitutional convention, the Constitution needed to be ratified by the states so there was an undertaking by Alexander Hamilton to explain the contents of the constitution. He recruited James Madison and John Jay in this endeavor. Jay got sick and wrote a few, Madison pulled his weight and Hamilton, as usual, carried the brunt of the work.

This work was known as The Federalist Papers. While the work was directed to the people of New York, it was widely distributed throughout the states to the people of America.

Federalist 29 is the original interpretation of the second amendment. It is how it was explained to the people and states of America. This is the basis second amendment was ratified on.

Where people get confused is Thomas Jefferson had a radical view on gun ownership and they misconstrue him as an author of the Bill of Rights it and author of the federalist papers. He was neither. His main work was in the Declaration of Independence.

I guess you didn't have anything to refute regarding my 'the left is evil' statement.

As for blacks buying guns in increased numbers that is expected as BLM Antifa Biden voters are attacking people everywhere. All those purchases are making Democrats realize that the 2nd amendment is there for a good reason and are probably realizing how wrong the Democrats are on the issue and are going full red in November.
