And you now have many states where the people are not going to let the lefties in their state do what they are doing in the lefty states- attacking gun rights and their advocates right at the top of the list.
You go right ahead and be prepared to argue that it is about more than that but Attorney General Commie there in New York just put a campaign issue on the table that is not going anywhere soon and will probably be a fundraising bonanza for the NRA although they receive the money into their Virginia headquarters.
The NRA and the republicans need this issue and she just presented it right on schedule like a gift from the gods. Pretty selfish on her part too because she knows that it will not harm the dem vote in New York at all but she put lots of other states in a position where dems have to distance themselves or walk sideways like a crab the way you do to not be associated with diminishing gun rights. After the election, the NRA will do whatever is convenient for them but I don't think you are going to see any quick caving in before the election just to avoid some heat. Nope, the heat is going to be a gift that is going to keep on giving for quite a while to come. I wouldn't be surprised to see the NRA use this as an excuse to execute a few of their top people but that's a win for them. Then they argue that they took action to remedy wrongdoings. But when you try to take the whole organization down- nope- gotta wait until after the election to even begin getting on with the legal issues and seeing whether the NRA even wants to have its current presence in New York.

No doubt there are already dozens of oppo investigations being launched on her too, and that will be fun. Those investigations against New York AG's or former AG's such as Spitzer never end well do they? Her predecessor Shneidermann was hunted down and bagged and disgraced and resigned bigley. Eliot Spitzer was also hunted down and finished off but they had to stay on his arse into his governorship but he was eventually bagged brutally and permanently relegated to the dustbin of history.
You are about to learn a whole lot more about her. Give it a few weeks or less.
First move will be to corner Sleepy and Confused Joe and hammer at him about whether he supports going after the NRA and thinks "it is a terrorist and criminal organization" as Letitia the Commie does or whether he wants to distance himself from it.
