Most recent U.S. Presidents never had an approval rating over 50%. This is no unique to the current administration.

That is false.Since aggregate polling began every President but Trump as had an approval rating over 51 % at some point.

Since Gallup polling began in the 1940s every President but Trump as had an approval rating over 51 % at some point.

Obamas final aggarete approval was 57 and 59(RCP and 538).Trumps is currently 43 and 42
