It is not only the US but a big portion of the rest of the world that will have to suffer the next POTUS.

He did seem to be trying a little too hard to sound upper crust; yet I suspect he did it naturally without thought. A little bizarre, don't you think?
You have to watch him a little bit to get the picture. The phony elitist tone, the odd mannerisms and the often wondering disconnected muti-syllabic words strung into sentences which ended up saying nothing. A few comedians have done imitations which are hilarious.
I would often sit and realize he had just taken 10 minutes to say absolutely nothing.

Please at least give me proper credit. I didn't call Ms Palin a "lovable asshole", she is obviously something else, wouldn't you say? There's no pleasing leftwing nutcases. You mock Sarah Palin because she sounded dumb to your oh so refined ears. Buckley however sounded a bit too posh for you. So he too is an "asshole."
Why don't you climb down off your high horse and just admit you hate conservatives, no matter what their accent? Oh I forgot, you have to pretend that you are so intellectually superior.
So you're saying the only choice to be had in your party is between a doofus and a snob? No middle ground? I'm not a fan of conservative politics, but even you're selling your side short here. There's no pleasing leftwing nutcases. You mock Sarah Palin because she sounded dumb to your oh so refined ears. That was hilarious! Williams does a great job of capturing the essence of Buckley. I used to watch Firing Line regularly. I wonder what it would be like growing up in the Buckley household. Seems you'd be laughing so hard most of the time you'd not be able to get anything done. I read a book he wrote about sailing across the Atlantic with his son(s) in a sailboat he had chartered. They took on board many cases of champagne and an upright piano. Now that's the way to sail! You have to watch him a little bit to get the picture.
