The New Psychology of Trading

Brilliant! (as the English say so ambuguously).

I would buy that service for myself! Can we add a feature that changes me from a one-car-piker to a Mr. Big? You know, like the guys who claim they trade the peaks and troughs in size, but you never see them on the tape?
 
I wish we had a forum called Philosophy. Because for me trading is more philosophical than psychological. In the bottom pane of the attachment is one of my favorite indicators. You are looking at a one-second chart of NQ. You see the momentary gold bars embedded in the green background? The mystical (and of course non-existent) THEY know when you are most likely to enter and exit. You're skrood! (That's in the original classical Greek.) Times are PT, FWIW.

I believe there is a drop down menu in the top RH corner that will satisfy your needs

This feature was added when it was discovered that some of our mugs (oops I mean customers) could not quite come to grips with the size of the non-reality that our more advanced clients were propagating and so we include a scale to accommodate their falling self esteem.

By memory it goes something like this..
... pelican pooh ( noobie level)
... bullshit
... elephant droppings

and by popular demand our latest inclusion simply goes by the name
... george

I have often wished for such a forum myself. But ET has not a philosopical body in its bone. BTW, I am currently writing a little essay called "Dialogues Concerning Unnatural Trading". I observe what you posted in your attachment as well, and plan to describe it in my essay as "They See You Coming". I would apologise to Alan Farley for stealing that little turn of phrase of his, but I'm quite sure he never slums here.

So-Crates stole an idea I posted here years ago that the spread always widens (unhhhhh!) at the change of the minute when popular systems are popping (pooping?) trade signals.

You clowns haven't read your Jack. Recently he told Hypo that "Amateurs trade at the end of the bar". Truth! (Once in a while even a blind hog finds an acorn.)

The Mumbai R&D night shift is working on it as we speak although one of the monkeys is being difficult.He claims that it sunday night and he should on double bananas. Anyway a quick call to his mother confirmed that he is indeed Hindu and so his claim has been rejected and all is well.

Once again we are leaning towards a drop down menu as previously discussed.

This time instead of using "falling self esteem" as the base we rather feel that "removal from reality" might be the go.

Fearless9, I have been trying to understand ET's officially sanctioned intraday futures trading system for many years. Some of it I get, some of it I don't. Maybe it is because I am old and my eyes aren't so good any more. Or because I have only one arm, who knows, but could I have a pull down function "Seeing things that aren't there?" God bless!
