The new hybrid system and scalping equities

I havent used tape reading as a major part of my game in about a year now. I focus much more on ecn activity than I do spec prints. I have already adapted my game to change with the times.
Anyone who hasnt probably hasn't made much if any $$$ this year trading as the NYSE is mostly electronic these days anyways. I am more than ready for Oct 6th.

Back to this 25 cents /thousand shares traded on the NYSE.....Can anyone point me to the page....it was implemented Aug 1?


I haven't been seeing the charge appear daily on my blotter. Tell me I'm not going to get a massive charge on my blotter one day. Tell me please....
 
Most likely you will get a hit w/ a fee all at once if you havent had to pay anything yet. The firm I was at told us mid july that it was coming aug 1st.

....is this fee on the sell side (like the sec fee) or is it overall volume.
I do ~75k per day.......37.5k buys and therefore 37.5k sells.
Am i charged 75 * 0.25 or will it be 37.5 * 0.25 ??

For 75K shares/day its going to cost you $375 extra per month ($4500/year)....I think.

i still wonder if NX charges, last I heard was that direct + was free.
