The New Citibank Commercial

Unfortunately....It really is not funny....It is economically surreal and horrific....an Obama-Pelosi satire....

The government should immediately downsize and dramatically cut taxes....ie 10% consumption tax....

Or you just might see some "New Citibanks" along with other "govt. managed companies"....

Let the banks fail....period....There are smart players that have been waiting in the wings to get to take in the good parts....

The government needs to step aside....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTQ4zVWt1wQ

Geithner, Summers, the whole lot needs to go....except for Volcker....

It is time for the public to get "clawbacks"....

Now this thread has some redeeming social value, except for the part about the 10% consumption tax which everyone knows is regressive.

No....the US already has a consumption tax....

A tube of toothpaste costs $1.00

10% taxpayer pays $1.10

20% taxpayer pays $1.20

38% taxpayer pays $1.38

Now apply this to cars, houses, etc...

A 10% consumption tax....everyone pays $1.10....

No other taxes
No corporate taxes
No individual taxes

Right now the US needs to construct a manufacturing base as fast as possible.....While it's increasingly progressive structure will only take more from less....at exactly the wrong time....

The government has to take out all the stops to let entrepreneurs
and companies from all over the world come in abundance on US ground and domicile....

Then the "real jobs" can come back....

Faster than any other method....

When the economy gets "fat"....there will be no looking back.....

The current economic killers in office now need to come clean....

It is getting beyond rediculousness....

If you recognize the video clip for it's satire, it IS funny. The actual facts are indeed scary, sad and all too real. But to those who flamed the OP, "lighten up Francis". :D

Then again. Some people just don't have a sense of humor.
