If the SS portion of the national debt is 75 trillion 75 years from now then you will have a point,but as of today it has a 3.7 trillion dollar surplus that we have been able to borrow from

1) Once again for the slow people in front, I said total social welfare

2) SSI trust is at 2.5 T surplus, not 3.7

3) Every pension fund in existence has to compute future obligations, but dotdotdipshit thinks SSI is somehow exempt from that fact when assesing its viability.

4) Medical care is a very important component of the federal budget, especially now. To leave that out of social welfare is brain dead.

5) it's not 75 years away that we are in trouble, it's today

Well if obama wins 2012 and continues his NIGGARDLY spending he will be authorizing the postal service to print stamps* to change the denomination of our currency 2015.
