I am also using up/down, but i am also interested in a way to chart this without the unchanged.
SunTrader how do you chart this or get this data? Tradingview doesn't seem to offer it or i am missing something. Custom indicator?

In TradeStation, but I would imagine Tradingview would have something similar, separate symbols $UVOLSPX and $DVOLSPC S&P Composite up and down volume with indicator (on bottom) plotting percentages of whichever is greater. I look at those naturally for eMini, and $UVOLND / $DVOLND for NQ and $UVOLRLC / $DVOLRLC for RTY. F the Dow.
Friday $SPX example:-

BAM, that shit is no longer priced in.
Futes are down big but that rarely corresponds to where the market opens up the next day.
I highly doubt we will open much below 430 but if it does I am averaging down OTM lotto calls and maybe a couple of puts for downside protection.
