The nasdaq and s&p finished strong today —-

Even though down, they finished strong. Tomorrow could be an up day based on todays action going into the close. Also, Powell is talking tomorrow and he will attempt to prop up the markets.
However, if we close down tomorrow, we are going down to the 200 dma.
The dow clearly broke down under the 50 dma on a closing basis. Just something to be aware of.

Powell already spoke this afternoon, in a manner of speaking (heh). Go see his speech, which he will repeat tomorrow. What will matter are the Q&A sessions tomorrow and Wednesday.
 
It will be interesting. He will attempt to cheerlead. I wonder if the market will care?
I think the market is telling us there will be more lay offs as companies decide they can be more productive with fewer workers and decide to start laying people off. Also there will be over supply with office space.
