I saw a whole generation of families destroyed by welfare. I played in a band where I was the only white member. Every single one of the other members wives were on welfare. That was their job, to have babies. Usually by many different men.

I was a big family guy, and the only one in the band who owned a car. I would try to encourage the men to visit their children and get involved in their life. We would take them fishing and go to their football games, until the wife would tell me, "You gotta stop bringing him around. If the welfare dept catches him here in my house I could lose my benefits."

Good Muslims calling out radicals.


STOCKHOLM (AP) — Norway's prime minister and other politicians have joined Muslim leaders and thousands of other people for a demonstration in Oslo against radical Islamists.

Monday's rally was an initiative by young Norwegian Muslims who wanted to show a united front against Islamic State militants in Syria and Iraq and their sympathizers in Norway.

Mehtab Afshar, head of the Islamic Council in Norway, told the crowd: "They stand for terrorism, they stand for terror ... and we condemn that in the strongest terms."

that sounds believable, I mean just look at all the anti isis/nusra/islamic front rallies going on in the Middle Waste and even in Europe right now.

oops.. there aren't any.

Yet Israel gets attacked and proceeds to stomp on hamAss, and muslims all over the world start rallying against teh evil jooos and wrecking the Western nations they live in. There is a problem with islam. Whether isis does get carried away in the field or not, conquest of 'non-believers' is part of islam, literally. Sharia is islamic law, look how the saudis live.

You don't think 20k guys are holding this much territory without the support of the people, do you?
 
It's interesting that Obama has condemned Putin and Russia in far harsher terms than he has ISIS. He has condemned Assad and the Syrian government in harsher terms for not giving into them. He intervened in Lybia to overthrow Ghaddafi when Ghaddafi fought back against islamist terrorists, some of whom later attacked our Benghazi outpost.

The depressing thing is the republican "leadership" have actually criticized Obama, not for his foolish policies, but for not pursuing them aggressively enough.
 
The Islamic State militants waging a campaign of terror across Syria and Iraq are trying to form their own nation -- and Jon Stewart has a message for them: It's not as easy as it looks.

"Take a good look at us. We're living your dream," Stewart said on "The Daily Show" on Wednesday night. "We're the most powerful state in history. We influence the whole world -- and all we talk about is how everything sucks now."

Stewart said we were happier on horses taking potshots at Redcoats and throwing tea parties.

"You know what came after that?" Stewart said. "Two hundred years of fucking paperwork."
