Well, recently saw the much bagged "Ghostrider", with Nicholas cage.
One reviewer , described it as "laughably bad", and i have to agree.
It really was, a terrible, awful film. Laughably bad? Yes, but not so, that being so bad it was good, no, jus terrible on it's own merit's.
If you were nine years old, AND a fan of ancient comic books, ok, maybe there could be something in it for you, but..................probably not, to.
-----------
Currently sort of watching Ong Bak 2, So far, I dont like what I see, just drifting in and out.
Dont like it, from what ive seen-a pointless pastiche of successful western films, oddly, much of the surrealist aspect of 300, some crowd scenes that would do Indiana Jones and the crystal skull proud, portions of conan the barbarian, even a -dare i say a tribute or rip off, of star wars, where, Luke enters the place where things, generally, might test your mind, even aspects of the shawshank redemption AND The last of The Samurai, lord of the rings AND...apocalypto, And gladiator, AND.......
need I go on.
Oddly, every character uses strange, stilted, formal language-rather like english speakers MUST have done hundreds upon hundreds of years ago.
Not.
Shit, they used the 300 soundtrack basically, what a gip.
Shit, it looks like they even used the same damn sets, too. Er, or green screen.
Vastly disappointing, it's almost all "superdark" so you cant actually see shit, and what there is to see is pointless.
A pointless waste of tony ja's martial talents, and a pointless waste of screen time, under the glorious and beloved king of thailand's worthwhile film viewership.
Long live the king of thailand, and please grant me a royal visa to visit your remarkable country, Im a nice person. Honest. Really, I'm pretty awesome.
