It's not the leftists fault what fox or even old guard MSM decide to amplify w/their bullhorns to demonize the left wing. In any case, I don't really agree over-policing is the solution either. The US is too much of a police state as is for my liking already. COVID has put economic stress on millions, doubt the rise in crime these last 2 yrs is a US-only thing. What needs further analysis is how those countries w/better COVID safety nets did crime wise compared to our corporate-centric CARES Act.

The above prediction was based on the GOP reverting to Romney-like candidates and scrubbing off MAGA. I hope we don't have another Bernie or bust moment and progs see the light on the danger of letting fascism take the country after seeing what losing SCOTUS resulted in.

Dems losing to a Romney-like in 2024 would've been warranted, and I thought this would be the best times for 3rd party candidate given the dems' weakness and broken promises. All this 'embracing' of 'blue lives matter' won't have mattered if not for dumb slogans like 'defund the police' while crime rates were soaring.

Also, I don't know why more cops automatically equates to be a bad thing, not all cops equate to being Chauvins of the world.

More cops is a bad thing when you dont fix what is wrong with the police and just send more poorly trained, behavior mental cases with guns out on the streets. Nothing to do with slogans.

Doctors kill you if they mess up.....but between malpractice suits and license revoking their industry is SELF-REGULATED. Cops get immunity for their actions, can kill on the flimsiest of justifications and receive little or no punishment, have little training for their required responsibilities and undergo ZERO screening to make sure we dont get nut jobs with licenses to kill.

We see the result of over-hiring unqualified LEO in Uvalde, we see the result of devoting much of the city budget to cops there. They were fairly diverse too, being an asshole isn't a white-only thing. Racism often leads to power tripping, power tripping isn't necessarily a race thing.

3) Some will be Special Agents and since they are deputized FLE; they carry sidearms. There has always been a large contingent of armed IRS Special Agents.
