The Most Legitimate Way Of Showing Ones Perfomance ?

I agree with you that an audit would fix that, but I was wondering if there is any service that could do a quick report on someone's performance without having to pay anything. I couldn't find it myself so my guess is that Trading Journals can't be trusted to prove our records at all. And if there is an auditing service available is exactly because of that.

The concept of "audit" requires verification... plus the legal exposure/liability to the one who "verifies". Nobody is going to do that for free.

But the question is as follows :
if i had, or anyone else (more likely an EU citizen), to prove, his or hers performance/track record, - in which way one should do it ?

A statement from the broker ?

What about if it was done, next to another person, would you open the browser and would show it right there at the spot, thus the other person could see the domain and the rest ?
Why would you want to do that?
Are you looking to manage money or do you just want people on an anonymous forum to take you seriously?

When you sit down, with a potential client one on one, and you can prove your qualifications, it becomes very easy to, remove your competition.

I agree. Sounds like you need audited results. You tell you client what performance you achieved, and back it up with an independant 3rd party.

LF is going to post PNL any day now...

Bad day. Down $1600, but catched the late session rally for + 14.25 and managed to end the day down only $175.

What will you pay me for posting a P&L of that? LOL. :)

Sim trade account on top. Real account at the bottom. I took the liberty to remove private details.

EDIT: Correction. That was + 14.25. Not 16.25.

You don't pay comms at NT? Gross is net?

NT gives you gross results only by default, but you can add a commission structure manually. I just like to stick with gross results in Ninjatrader and export the trades to Excel and then update my sheets with net P&L after receiving my broker statements.

Recently, Ninjatrader moved forward from the stone age and actually offer performance electronically, so I could stop doing that, but I like to keep track manually out of habit.
