Quote from jack hershey:
Attached is the open for friday using your ninja chart with my annotations and the application of the 8 numbered principles.
Previously, I described in words how the first 60 points on five contracts were earned.
Here you see in the attached how the prior FTT caused the long taken on open to become a wash trade and a reversal to short to pick off the new FTT which will be upcoming.
Here I copied your file with your correct annotatiions of the "trading fractal" which is one fractal slower than the fastest observable fractal on your ninja chart.
Notice that your "cases" are placed on the ninja chart automatically except for the outside bar case. The lateral is shown as a yellow box on the ninja chart.
The VE close provides you with the principle to use to begin the next trading fractal as point 1 of the trading fractal.
To actively trade the trading fractal it is a great idea to annotate the faster fractal than the trading fractal. there are three faster moves, B2B 2R 2B , in the trading fractal. You show B2B between point1 and point 2. You show 2R between point 2 and point 3. You show 2B between point 3 and the VE which is the FTT of the trading fractal.
So a trade long happens on bar 0 the opening bar. You come the the violation of the bookmark (principle 4) and you wash and reverse to go to the NEW FTT where you take profits and reverse long (principle 5) to hold until you come the the defined FTT of the trading fractal.
As you look at the chart you DO see the close of the VE IS in the zone and you expect to see an M1 and an M2 (at a higher level that the original FTT maximum. Consider if the VE is a single translating bar or a first bar of a "case" (see principle 6 for RTL's, which is not the case and see principle 1 for annotating). The next bar is in the purple container right from its ninja charting beginning and the merged bars still have a close in the zone, meaning an M1 and an M2 will follow.
In the next post I will make my point clearer after you soak in this situation for a minute or two.
