you have some talent in loosing credit IMO. just in the very moment when people start to talking to you about strategy and trading, you promote your site, group or however you want to call it.
you see IMO, This here is the site where the people you are addressing chose to communicate. Not exclusively but many - as myself - for the time being mainly. here is a wide range of people, including highly professional traders and fund managers, all organised in a highly professional environment. your site is not an alternative to that IMO. So why don't you tell people of your group to come here?

BTW, even if you were so huge, in whatever aspect, i would not recommend to mention it too often. What do you expect from people as a the appropriate reaction. Admiration? Grief? Envy?

funny thing with the really huge people I met in my life is that they usually try to hide their size in order to make it easier for others to communicate with them.

I agree. Also there is the big problem - the 'pseudo sales pitch' is obscuring and diminishing the conversation.

okay - see your point. but it is really not easy to communicate this way. you see, I actually do not do all this for the pure fun of it.
so if I have to bare too much inconvenience I get off. I am afraid I am not the only one thinking that way.

On the strategy. I think he overestimates himself if he really thinks that his concept is so extraordinary. Don't get me wrong. I honour his work so far. But one has to put things in the right perspective from time to time. I think MrMarket has a good chance to construct something good from where he started, but it is a long way to go IMO. And it is better to be humble in the beginning and huge in the end, not the other way round.

Honestly - being aware he will not care - if I read the word "huge" again in any of his posts, I will not post again in any of his threads.

Hi, I see your point too. I only think you're a bit severe, because he's not *just* in it for the fun, IMO. But to ask you a question: when you say he still has a way to go, what exactly do you have in mind? I think the universe definition is a good start, for one.

I've been using my model for 12 years now and have beaten the market averages in each of those 12 years. I have not read about a money manager, or hedge fund manager with this track record. What else could I possibly think about my performance other than it is extraordinary? I am always looking to improve on my model and I welcome your comments and suggestions. On the other hand, since I have been doing this for quite a while I think you are incorrect in thinking I am at the beginning of my sojourn.

I think life is fun, I pity those who take it too seriously.
