The Moronic Life of Tugger Carlson

I enjoyed the interview. I found the interview more interesting than the regurgitated propaganda from our leaders and media outlets. Putin's re-write of history is no different than our re-write of history after WWII.

Tucker Carson, the man, the fable teller, the legend in his own mind. Russian Propagandist extraordinaire. Unemployed "journalist" who was fired from Fox News. Putin Ball licker. Dare I say, hero to the MAGA idiots.

Jimmy Kimmel Burns Tucker Carlson By Exposing His Most Telling Phrase Yet

Jimmy Kimmel renewed his feud with Tucker Carlson on Wednesday after the former Fox News host announced he was in Russia.

“Tucker Carlson still doesn’t have a job, he’s in Moscow,” Kimmel noted. “House-hunting, I hope.”

Carlson, a far-right conspiracy theorist whose shows have been marked by racism, xenophobia and white nationalism, said he was going to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Kimmel was unimpressed.

“He’s a murderer, he’s a war criminal, he hates America, he hates everything America stands for, he’s a liar and a propagandist,” Kimmel said (of Putin). “But Tuck thinks we just need to hear him out.”

He played a clip of Carlson claiming he wants to get Putin’s view since he’s “involved in this conflict” with Ukraine.

“I love ‘involved in this conflict,‘” Kimmel said. “It’s like saying that in ‘Jaws’ the great white shark was ‘involved in the biting.’ It takes two to be eaten, y’
know.”

I watched the Putin interview and it was interesting to me. He did his usual song and dance about sanctions and maps 862 AD but there was a couple of interesting things I picked up on as Carlson was totally enamored with him and just let him ramble on unchallenged.

1. Putin has his mind on “genetics.” A couple of times the topic swung into issues like AI but he steered it into “genetics” which was definitely his own subconscious coming out. I don’t know what’s going on there whether Russia is doing some genetic stuff, viral stuff or he is just getting old and relying on medical treatments. Whatever but that was definitely some left field stuff that came up unprompted.

2. He regards the West as the “golden billion.” Seemingly it’s a derisive term of his own making. My take is that he sees us in the west as lucky with the highest standard of living and wealth. And of course he’s right but you can tell it’s sort of where he channels his dislike. He sees us as living a “golden” life style compared to the other 6 billion or so in the world.

Bonus. I was surprised to hear him speak highly of American economic strength. Many people harped on some of his comments about debt but he is genuinely impressed and sort of flabbergasted at the US growth rate and stabilized inflation. Russia used is reeling in inflation. It kind of makes me think he expected America to be diminished from Covid but came out much stronger compared to the world.

Anyways it was a good look at Putin getting loose. He felt comfortable enough to slip up a few times. He might be losing his touch.

It was an interesting interview. Just so long as you take it all with a grain of salt. In my opinion it was one of the best looks into what actually is making him tick.
