For the SHORT small caps are not recommended as most will go bust.
YOUR hardest task is in selecting a large cap that will survive the onslaught. Most to all of these too will be hammered mercilessly but some much less than others.

Keep your radar screens on during the CRASH and towards the end of it when Dow Jones dips below 5000 for somewhere in that region 500 - 5000 there will be one or more companies that don't go down NO MORE. They will have bottomed QUIETLY and without FANFARE and almost nobody will notice.

Pick one of these and start nibbling LONG and accumulating after Wave 4 down is complete.

Then hold for the next 70 years - you and your next of kin will be trillionaires.

That will also be the time, i.e. at the end of GD 2, to accumulate GOLD and dump the US Dollar.
