I am a grinder.. I cannot miss trading days.
After about 12-14 days of "left too much on the table" I decided that day would be the day I take them all off. coincidentally that day market decided to run straight off to the other direction, all my hard works and then some disappeared in a flash. Now I no longer care if I "left to much on the table" 
There are no missed days in trading
There are only lack of information/knowledge to satisfactory predict near term movements which are 100% predictable.
One should know what the market/instrument MIGHT do tomorrow ,
<b>today.</b>
If you do not know, you have not / can not prepare.
Opportunity + preparation = Success.
Opportunity + blindfolded = "Another missed +200 point opportunity"
Understand this and you will have stepped your game to the next level.
