There’s nothing wrong about averaging down.
As long as risk is kept in check.
You can buy 1 at 10 and risk 5 pts
You can buy 1 at 8 and risk 2.5 pts
Average is 2 @ 9, Stop is 6.5
You can buy 1 at 9 and risk 1.67 pts
Average is 3 @ 9, Stop is 7.33
Only 1 lot traders think it’s evil to average down,
It’s actually called building up a position.
Has nothing to do with risk mngmt.
Only loser average loser.
