It looks a lot like the board game LIFE by Milton Bradley. I remember playing it all the time back in the late 1970s.
It also reminds me of the "Space Seed" episode from the original Star Trek show. The Khan character says that technology changes but human nature never does. This was after he had awoken from 200 years of cryogenic freeze.

The screen name come from reminding me that there are trades that do go bad, but to avoid the really, really bad, badness of the lot. I.e. avoid the blow out at all costs.
I see a lot of newbies that could benefit from studying this poster....
This is great, and The Answer happens to be a mechanical system that requires getting aboard, sitting still, and waiting until it arrives at the end. Proof that trend following actually works?
