Ok, so you pass the trade, no trade for the day. Comes next day, what happens? Are you hesitating again? what do you say to yourself when you are hesitating?

same thing. i see what may be a defined setup that i like, but there is always something wrong with it that makes me pass on it because there is a bar or 2 that changes the defined look (usually because volatility changes or the character of the market changes for example goes from stong trend to tight trading range), so it may be close to what i would consider a good trade but not as close as i would like.
 
On the pic you have put, can one see the change of volatility or the strength of the trend or if it is indeed a trend?

The question might be very simplistic, but I just want to make sure that all is let's very very obvious and clear.
 
similar but notice how much difference, the spike is not as strong as seen buy the bear bars and reversal bars, the flag is all overlap, the number of pushes are not clear. it did not form a double bottom like in the prev setup, its above the ema, the signal bar is different, blah blah my point is, stuff is always different.

so the elephant in the room is how am i supposed to assess the probability of a trade if the setups are always different in some way.

Sorry to ask, can you add the indicator as in the first picture?
Just so as to have the same elements on the 2 pictures?
also if you could draw the 3 lines and the kind of shaded rectangle on the 2nd picture. If possible of course.

Don't bother. I spent 1 year animating for free a trading group on skype.
I learned a lot. Now, I am interested only in making pips. Not educating others. I can help when asked. Certainly two family members when they agree to see first a psychiatrist. :). Or may be a little niece when she turns 4 months old. Start them early.lol.:D :D :D

yes, as you stated, its not the same, its just similar. and it highlights my point of never taking any trades because i cant find 2 that are the same.
