Well everything has got a price especially success. And you know what they say "it's lonely at the top". I can totally understand what you are going through. But I look at it this way, I would rather be rich and not be able to talk about it instead of being poor and constantly complaining about it which does not change anything.

Take comfort in the fact that you have made it! Only 5% of the traders make in the trading business. Majority of the people blow up their accounts, get angry and quit. Being able to trade successfully is no small accomplishment. You are a trader and a successful one and be proud of that! Enjoy the wealth it brings! You have worked hard to earn it. And you owe it NO one, not to your friends and not even to your family to divulge your proprietary trading system or at alone giving them handouts. If they can't understand that, well now you know how much your friendship and/or family ties is worth :) Better knowing now than never. Find some of your peers who are at your level where you can socialize. Being that top traders only make up 5% of the trading population it's hard to find them but they are there. And that's it. Life is to be enjoyed especially when you can enjoy it comfortably!! :)

Grow up. Nobody promised you paradise on Earth. If just being financially successful and self-employed isn't enough, go do some volunteer work and help folks who have real problems in life.

the US is a nation of whiners and that is why it is bankrupt both morally and financially. people receiving unemployment for up to 2 years seemingly sitting on their arses is more socialistic than europe.

You have a reading comprehension problem. The guy doesn't have a real problem, he's whining because he doesn't have another successful trader to brag to about his cool moves who will then slap him on the back and tell him what a swell fellow he is. That's not a problem, that's self-indulgence. 99% of humanity would trade places with him in a heartbeat for such a "problem".

Last time I checked, corporations are sitting on their ASSets and not hiring. When you get sick of corporate welfare, be sure to let us know.
