The Little Guy Loses Again

Clinton also had trouble with their there.

The chart in the ops thread really looks like a bad fill, and a possible bust should have been anticipated.

If he had paid 50 cents would he have also thought the gods have given him a gift?

Quote from nasdaq1987:

Thats what I did. When I saw the futures were down substantially I checked the cash markets and saw they were essentially unchanged. So I shorted the USD/CHF and went long the dollar index to lock in the profit.

At the time, I was unaware of trade busts. I assumed that if someone makes a mistake, they have to pay for it and move on. I didn't expect it to be reversed.

How does one go about reporting their trade as erroneous? Can retail investors do that?
For NASDAQ listed equities, there's a website where you enter the details on trades you believe are clearly erroneous.
However, if you don't succeed in claiming your trade (ruling goes against you) you're charged $250.

I'm not sure how it works for futures exchanges...

At least on US stocks once you enter a claim for clearly erroneous, it goes to ruling at FINRA (arbitrage). Once there's a ruling, that ruling is final.
