Since the U.K. voted to leave the EU, there has been a torrent of angry progressives demanding old people not be allowed to vote. As it turned out, a majority of Britons over 50 voted to leave the EU, while a majority of Britons under 50 voted to stay.

Forbes ran a piece re Brexit with the headline, “Angry Old People Shouldn’t Be Allowed to Vote”: “Better to leave it to the young, who have their hopeful eye on the future, rather than their fearful elders, looking back to a mythic past,” concludes Forbes writer David Schrieberg.

GQ was equally direct: “We Should Ban Old People from Voting.”

Translation: If you went to school back when the focus was on education, instead of later when the focus was on Liberal Socialist indoctrination, then we'll take away your right to vote.

Not unlike the Liberal Socialist proposal that if you don't think like us, and accept what we tell you, we'll fine and imprison you. Taking away your right of free speech.

The Liberal Socialist propose that if your business or you religion is offensive or even mildly annoying to someone that wears a towel on their head, we'll make laws against that..

And then when the Liberals are told the 2nd Amendment Right is the most important because it's the one that protects all the others,.... they say "your just a paranoid gun nut".

So basically now they want only the young with no life experience to be able to vote rather than older citizens who don't buy the systems bs any more.

It is good the elders know how to fly F-16s, know how to take apart M-16s and set up Claymore mines, can butcher cattle and stop the bleeding on a buddy, we might not be the fastest, and can't drink booze but we the son sa bitches know it is better to maimed than kill cause needs more people to take care of the wounded than bury. Kids, HAAA they don't know not to piss against the wind, dull knife does more harm than sharp, and if there no electric would die of hungry or can't add. The young will have their turn of running the country one day when elders not working any more, then world will go to crap in handbasket. Then they be like Obama and keep saying what they inherited and yet they were the problem of not working for a living. Better to suck on the government teat.

Sour grapes and puppy dog tears, specially since the second referendum was exposed as a fraud and parliament put the stops to it. I'm proud of the Brits for taking back control of their country, I hope we have the same cajones come November.

That's it. Most of them seem to adhere to situational morality. When it suits them, they follow their rules. When it doesn't suit them, they abandon their own rules. They have no moral compass and their agenda trends towards Authoritarianism.

They're quite dangerous, imo.

Better to raise the voting age to at least 25. By then maybe the younger people will have a brain to vote correctly. I don't see how any 18 year old teenager can have the brain power to make a correct choice when it comes to voting.
