A good guy from here pm'd me asking I not do this for the fear you pointed out. In addition, it's NYC. I know a guy there who spent the weekend on rikers island for 3rd offense using a cell phone while driving. I'm not getting locked up there, and missing my flight home. No question, I'd get locked up for bending this shit head like he deserves.

And yes, this shit head would need to bring friends, and who knows what kind of trash he'd come up with in NYC.

Too much risk. I'm smarter than that. Now when he decides to vacation to FL (where ALL New Yorkers seem to go), I can assure it would just be me, and I might even let him bring another friend to keep it fair.:)

Last, the most likely event would be my wasting cab fare, as he has a track record for making a threat, then not showing up. What more should one expect from a guy who lives in mommy's basement, playing Internet tough guy?
 
Meet up in a boxing or MMA gym. Let them know what's going down and see if they'll let you get it on for real. Most likely, they would...

Wise decision. He wouldn't have shown up anyway and if he did it would be with 10 of his friends. He's just a big mouth liberal NY dick head. He's shown that to be the case numerous times here.
 
How would either combatant actually know if his opponent was who he said he was? Even knowing that, a stranger in someone else’s home town still risks ambush.

Unless both sides are willing to sacrifice their anonymity, such arrangements are pointless. I learned at a very young age, and the hard way, that no one knows for certain they can kick someone's ass until they've actually done so...in some cases twice.

A person's politics are useless as an indicator. One of the best target shooters I know is liberal. At my gym, some of the baddest boys (including some MMA competitors) are liberal, though most of the active duty members that work out there tend to be conservatives or libertarians. Just sayin. You never know for sure, (at least I don't try to).

Now if someone steps up to me in person, that's another ball game all together.

That thought crossed my mind as well. It eliminates the risk of getting arrested fighting in public. And prevents any of his friends that show up from cheating. Other bystanders wouldn't allow it. I doubt there's one chance in twenty vajayjay would have shown up anyway.
