Obama had everything he needed the first 2 years.
He was President and had both house of Congress controlled by Democrats.
He got an insurance company version of obamacare signed by only democrats. because he sold out to the insurance companies through without any Republicans. He had to "torture' or bribe some democrats to support his insurance company care rather than single payer which is what they wanted.
Obama could have done anything he wanted to do - when his party was in control. It did not get done.
We got a big turd sandwich because that is all the bankers who run the establishment politicians like Obama, democrats Ryan and McConnell are allowed to serve.
We have bad govt because the democrats and establishment republicans try their best to ruin any shot of good govt...The cronies pay them to make decision in the cronies interests not the peoples interests.
You can thank Obama, Pelosi and Reid, mostly, with some help from Ryan and McConnell for handing us 8 years of crap... after Bush's 8 years of crap.

He had a majority in the Senate. He did not need a super majority of 60 votes in the Senate to get Obamacare approved. Nor did he need a super majority to get the public option approved if he wanted to move in this direction, but instead he chose to support his friends the lobbyists from the insurance & healthcare industries.

I'll tell you what...instead of us having to prove 1000 different republicans innocent, lets do as the law says it's to be done. Innocent until proven guilty. Burden of proof is on the accuser. You want to say all these Trump supporters are out raping and pillaging in the streets, prove it. In a country of 300+ million people and with the media totally on your side, you statistically should be able to find at least 1 example...right?

So, Obama was very busy having to repair the image of his faith as it is seen by Americans, with some very temporary success. His success was somewhat limited by the shear number, volume, and variety of attacks, as the Islamic religious purists were too busy shouting how "great" Allah is, while they were lobbing bombs and spraying bullets.
And just in case you want to know, estimates are that Islam has caused the deaths of about 250 million people since its inception.

SILVER SPRING, Md. - A 77-year-old Vietnam veteran’s Silver Spring home was vandalized over the weekend after a swastika was spray-painted on his front door, police say. In addition, the homeowner’s American flag was stolen.
Montgomery County police say the incident was reported Sunday morning after the homeowner found his front storm door spray-painted while the flag hanging from a tree in his yard went missing.
Detectives believe the homeowner’s political affiliation may be the motive for this incident after the homeowner reported previous vandalism and theft incidents. The homeowner said eggs were thrown at his home four days before this most recent vandalism. Back in late October, the homeowner’s Trump/Pence election sign was stolen from his front yard.
Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Montgomery County police at 240-773-6870. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
