You are perhaps just observing something curious about bigots and their politics. There is a dictionary definition of "bigot". If you fit that definition, you are a bigot regardless of your politics. It has nothing to do with politics. But curiously there seems to be a strong correlation with bigotry and far right politics. Why is that?
The President, who has no particular ideology, political or otherwise, is a text book example of a bigot. Of course he suffers from an extreme personality disorder. So he is atypical. And he may only be playing the role of a bigot to manipulate others to get what he wants. But we do have strong indications from his past that he is likely a true bigot and not just acting the part. However, what about all the other millions of bigots in the U.S. and other countries that don't have severe personality disorders. What's causing them to fit the definition of a bigot? You don't hear many people with left of center politics suggesting that American citizens should go back to their country, for example, but you do hear that sort of thing coming from the far right. Why is that? We should ask Noam Chomsky. Or perhaps we could ask some of the bigots that frequent these forums, such as yourself, or scat or Buy1. What's your explanation for why there seems to be far more bigots among those with far right or alt-right politics. I am going to guess it has a lot to do not so much with education per se, but more with the type or "nature" of the bigots' education and their upbringing perhaps. These same factors that may influence a persons tendency to become a hard core bigot might also play into the formation of their radical political views. That would explain the seemingly strong correlation. But it is only a hunch. I have no data to confirm any of what I am suggesting. And certainly I wouldn't suggest that every bigot has a severe personality disorder, that's obviously not the case.
