Here's some inside information: FPFX are the ones who supplied the “specialized software” to a select group of partner prop firms.
The so-called "special advisor" aiding MFF's cheating traders previously worked at FPFX and spilled their secrets to the CFTC.
This explains why they have precise conversations and more, which will soon come to light. The CFTC has targeted the industry's biggest player, and soon, other US and Canadian firms will face scrutiny.

Breaking news regarding payouts on other prop firms. They will postponed for the unseeable future. So bad. I hope this will not be for all major prop firms the case.
In FX there is no way for the "backed" trader to know that the orders aren't internalized. I don't care what you're told; all of the FX firms are in FX bc it's unverifiable. It's a Ponzi of sorts as they know they can pull in test fees to pay any profitable client as counterparty. The leverage and Draconian SLs make it so.
With futures-prop you can literally watch your one lot fill AH (or not) to test the internalized-order hypothesis.

I have a few friends funded at various futures prop firms and none have ever had any issues getting their money.
I do know which props exactly are affected. But I guess all US based props could make problems on payouts for the next time.
Exactly, which is one of the reasons why you can't compare these Forex or crypto firms to futures firms because it is easy to check if your order hits the order book or not. There are also some videos out there that show the orders going in the order book of some of those firms.
Also one of the reasons why you can't assume futures firms are applying tricks to make traders lose like MFF did, since the orders go to an exchange and it's very easy to check.

I just checked out the 1-star reviews of Interactive Brokers and most I can see relates to poor customer support, time consuming inquiries, etc.
Interactive Brokers is the largest brokerage in the US.
Apex is a bucket shop.
