WWII was started by Hitler (of Germany, FYI) in 1939 when he invaded Czechoslovakia, two years before Pearl Harbor. Even if you only count the Janpanese, their invasion of China which started the full scale war in China was in 1937, fully four years before Pearl Harbor.

And also Litvinenko didn't come to UK to kill Berezovski,he just ran there cause in Russia he could make no money selling his funny writings.It was 1998 when he made a press-conference in Russia saying that he was made by FSB(KGB) to kill Berezovski and left for UK only in the end of 1999 or 2000.
