The Journal of Ricky Bobby

What’s my background?
I’ve spent 25 years on bank trading floors in Asia, mostly in fixed income derivative trading roles. However, I did initially learn the ropes in the middle office.
Why the journal?
To hold myself accountable for my trade ideas and views on markets.
Rules for Trading:
-Never risk more than 1% of AUM on any trade
-Decide what level it should NOT trade if the narrative is correct
-Aim to have a 3:1 ratio to take profit

You, OP, are a troll, because unless you kiss him on the lips, you are false.

Silver is a better breakout bet atm imo.

"Very logical my dear Watson."

Silver is still undervalued in comparison to gold, and is probably better investment long term (few years).

I was stalking gold for many weeks, managed to buy it when it was breaking out a month ago, and then and then I sold for a quick profit because I didn’t like the rejection bar, and now I’m kicking myself. :(

Oh well, it will pull back sooner or later. :)
