Then you should have called 100 of them criminals. When you said 99 criminals you implied something else - that the other 99 committed other crimes and the 1 millionaire didn’t.

I find it sad that an inspirational read, such as this article, elicits a response like this based on his standing within the country- being an immigrant.

Your post is pushing a bad rhetoric; immigrants aren’t ultimately successful or criminals. While I agree anyone who enters the country needs to be here through a sound legal process, it shouldn’t be degrading or non inclusive. If someone contributes to society and culture, they’re an asset in any country. America is a true melting pot of ideas, tradition, and culture, while retaining a homeostasis of civility... despite some of the stories we see in the news of hateful rhetoric being spread on both sides.

It’s been previously stated, but everyone is so polarized. While this administration adds to this, extremism on both lines isn’t helping.

I doubt the Mayflower, Jamestown ... folks came with legal immigration papers, so did the Chinese after 1949, the Cubans after 1959, the Vietnamese after 1975, ....

Until the 20th century, most of the early immigrants came without paper.
