The saddest part is that he started the day with 105K, made 8K and somehow the account went down to 104K, and nobody caught it but I.

Care to explain that one for me??? He obviously must have traded and lost something else beside ES... Or withdrew money, but no explanation was given...

By the way I gave useful advice both 5 years ago and now for him, so I am not just bitching, but trying to help the old geezer....

P.S.: If Surf is the standard what we are measuring against, something is wrong here. :)

Well I did explain it to you once.


When people trade (me trading), we know what is going on.


My IB and its clearing house collect money when they serve me. They collect it immediately.


f you trade and if you have an IB, then speak with her.


She will explain to you just when she takes the money out of your account.


As I explained to you before, I paid for the service of doing the trade. Thus my account is smaller by that specific amount.


there is no need for an IB and the clearing house and the government and the exchange to wait until SETTLEMENT.


You are unfamilier with the prints I posted by printing my workspace. I am sorry to hear once again you do not understand how trading works and how paying for services works.

I went further and showed you how a better my reversal in chop to do a second trade.


as always, ask questions. What you are doing in your posts in this thread is providing an example of a person who does not grasp how and when trading services are paid. Tose who serve traders have earned their kep immediately as positions are filled.

For me, each prifit segment action I take costs arounf half a thousand dollars.

Mt trading platform is uncluttered. To snag my workspace immediately and with three clicks, I print the workspace.

So far, you can't understand the prints. Others can help you further. I have informed you twice. That is enough.

If you wish you can thanks me for my efforts. If not, then compromise and just ask questions. Many people will come to your aid.

The market opens long tomorrow (19APR 13).

Today (18APR13) the open was short.

My entry was @ 9:31:32 and my cover was @ 9:35:32.

The price shift was 1 tick less than 2 points. (+ 5,5862.50)

Yesterday (17APR13) the open was long.

My entry was @ 9:35:36 and my exit was @ 9:40: 32.

The net was + 2200 approximately.


Commissions are taken immediately; net profits are tabbed at settlement. Closed P&L means the profit is earned. total P&L means each closed P&L is summmed to sy what all the trade segments made (gross) before the dialy settlement AFTER RTH.

Settlement comes to me by e-mail.

You and Pekelo are very funny contributors. All of ET (including m) enjoy your pronouncements.

so... based on your screen prints/scans... you scalp for 2-5 ticks or so, just do it with size across 10 accounts?

also, if you need a better tool than "print screen" to capture your stuff, look at snagit... it is simple to use, you can then "clean up" or black out anything you dont want to show there... you can try it for 30 days... if you need any assistance with how to use it, feel free to pm me..

since you seem to be using MBT Desktop you can just capture the positions by symbol and balances by account and edit the account numbers... just a suggestion.

thank you for your comment and suggestion. It is midday now (bars 28 through 45 for me).

All the charts I post are snagit charts. I write with dragon 9. (not here usually) I make videos with camstasia type display views. I scan the logs I have posted.

today so far my trades were 1.3, 6.1, .3, 3~, 1.2, .3 as winners, I adjust for sentiment change (five times and average loss is 1 1/2 ticks). I do market trades. The values are points dot ticks. This saves time logging.

Yesterday I had 26 trades and the net was a multiple of the range.

Again, thank you for your pertinent suggestion.

Your explanation is BS. Commissions on ES are quite small. Are you saying that all your profits were eaten by commissions????

No.

I agree commissions are negligible.

1. This is correct; see FF 3 taken at about 10 minutes before open on Tuesday, the 9th.

2. You are correct here. I did the two trades shown on the lower left of FF 4. One of my bullshit explanations explained the two trades and why the entry on the second had the price it did. The P&L shows the gross proceeds.

3. The "somehow" is the commissions and fees and exchange fees taken out to show the IB and clearing house has been paid.

These were charged using 94% of BP as the basis which was involved in both trades. As you see on FF 3 94% of the master account which had 9 contracts of BP was 8 contracts.

My MAT account is trading 9 accounts as you may see.

For most ET readers, I feel they do their best as you have done. You draw conclusions as a consequence.

The small amount I paid for commish was the difference between 105, 004.56 and 104, 211.20 or about 800 bucks.

I made 8,225 gross on those trades and my cost was 800 bucks.

So I paid less than 10% to make that money.

I do understand my commentary is bullshit. I understand that most people do not think I am making any money trading.

I can only suggest to those who are considing trading, to go through the process of understanding how their accounts will report out as they do intraday trading.

As I mentioned, earned commissions and fees are charged trade by trade. Settlement is just done daily and a person cannot use those profits as BP until the next day's open because settlement is done after RTH's.

I am sure you trade and you know all of this.

It is just that I am not dedicated enough to be able to post information and facts that are suitable for reading up to this point.

I have been given some recommendations about getting electronic files. But, as a matter of fact they do just show what the screen shows.

I have the message from several people that my attachments do not work and they are known to just be more bullshit from me.

I conclude "just plain math" is what most do on ET. Thanks for taking the time to post to ET.

Good call. More surprising than the "new math" is that a guy making millions and in his 80s is fucking around with a 100k account.
