The Irrational, Unshakable Faith of the Collusion Conspiracists

People are going to throw out all kinds of allegations against him. A perfect example of this is when he removed a team member for engaging in some anti Trump text messages. He did exactly the right thing but it is being used against him.

.

Under other circumstances I could agree. A leader sees an impropriety and acted immediately.

But not under these circumstances. Mueller is widely criticized for undertaking an investigation with a stacked deck - a team of pro-Hillary or dem affiliated investigators. It was and will continue to be totally foreseeable that their leanings and affiliations will surface in various forms.

Hmm.. "a team of pro-Hillary or dem affiliated investigators."

Link to that? Do you have a list of the investigators and evidence of their bias?

"Plenty of key members of the Trump administration — Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, even Trump himself — have given to Democrats, including to Hillary Clinton."

Three or four donated to Hillary. One of his team defended the Clinton Foundation in past litigation. Another defended one of Hillary's aides.

Could be. That would be determined by the integrity of the people doing the hunting.
Reviewing tax returns that go back a decade without probable cause is a witch hunt, no matter who the special council is. And, BTW, I think Trump should have released his taxes before the election.

Trump is presently giving (reading) a speech in Salt Lake City. His intonation and inflection are equivalent to those of a 10-year-old in remedial class reading a passage for the first time. How unfortunate that national embarrassment is not an impeachable offense.

There are 18 on the team NOT INCLUDING the normal FBI investigation agents, two of which were involved in some improper communication..

Not proof of a stacked deck is it?

This is a critical investigation, intended to bring the president of the united states down or exposing him to that outcome. Under such circumstances, diligence requires you to remove or not even start with anyone with established bias. Mueller included for that matter.

Say for example, Hillary is prosecuted. A jury is selected and one of the jurors worked for the Clinton foundation and another was Hillary's aide or had defended one. They should not be there. They do not become impartial just because many others on the jury might be.

Fortunately you keep your therapy dog nearby for such days.

The fact of the matter is you will not find a better prosecutor to head the investigation than Mueller. The investigation is too serious for almost anyone else to do it. What happened with Russia must be addressed and exposed.

I think right wing people say the deck is stacked because they’re worried about what may be exposed about Russia. You guys have held a hard line on Russian interference having no impact on the outcome of the election and Trump and his campaign being too inept to run a hot dog stand. I think you guys are worried because you don’t believe those things are true.
