You can't take such a position and expect to be taken seriously. She lied to the FBI and destroyed evidence after said evidence was requested. What her intent was is irrelevant, and is not something for the FBI to determine the scope of that intent. Comey as much as admitted that the top reason he brought no charges is because he felt uncomfortable doing so during an election campaign. In essence he decided to err on the side of leniency simply because it was campaign season. I would argue, and I think most people who actually care about the electoral process would expect the legal standards to be higher not lower under such circumstances.

It is often forgotten the mood of the fbi was anti-Clinton and the suspected reason why Comey went public with the Clinton investigations findings was to placate many in the fbi who were on a very real witch hunt after her. The New York field office still needs to be cleaned up from the mess with Giuliani.
He didn't put her under oath when he questioned her. Didn't even bother to take a note, though admits taking copious notes when talking to others. How convenient. I read today that Flynn may not have known he was "on the record" when he was first questioned by the FBI. One could argue that he was not made aware of his constitutional rights and subsequently all testimony given is not admissible. How would you swallow that as a defense?

Which memorandum of understanding with the State Department? There was one entered into by the Clinton Foundation (Bruce Lindsey) and the office of President-elect Barack Obama on Dec. 12, 2008.
Might you be referring to the ethics agreement with the State Department, she wrote a letter as part of that however.. that is not a memorandum of understanding.

When Clinton spoke to the fbi she was under no obligation to accept being put under oath because they had no case on her. She went in as a courtesy. I don’t think you understand how weak the Clinton email thing really is.
Flynn is and was implicated in real crimes. Go to prison stuff. He was put under oath as part of his job in the White House and lied his ass off about Russians. He is lucky he has something to trade.

Hillary's husband, the former President of the United States had a secret meeting on the tarmac with her - that was exposed by an independent journalist. Said meeting occurred one week or maybe ten days before she was let off the hook by Comey. About two weeks before comeys decision, Hillary publicly said that if she were elected she would strongly consider keeping Loretta on as AG. You think Loretta was anti-Hillary.
