The LED light on my forehead is flickering from yellow to red trying to process the notion of Paul Ryan having balls. He is the type of guy who would run on a ticket as the vp with Mitt Romney, oh wait......

yeah I get your point but at the time Romney was a clear choice to run at that time and Ryan was a good VP candidate. But 2012 just was not a good year to challenge the incumbent so they were behind before they even started.

If any other GOP candidate won the election or HRC won, then Ryan would have stayed on as leader in the former and minority leader in the latter and really built up 4 years of power to make a run in 2020 (if HRC won). His path was laid out but I think the smart thing he did seeing what was coming was bail and avoid the shit McConnell is facing while seeing Pelosi, rightly or wrongly, gain power (I know, 2 different houses but he would have been like Pelosi if HRC won and got power/support).
 
And once again Kayleigh kicks the stupid WH reporters in the ass. It is actually beautiful to watch.
