- "funding secured @420" (blaze it) --> protecting the overly pessimistic short-sellers
- "TSLA overvalued imo" --> protecting the overly optimistic post-rona rally surfers

Couldn't you have simply said that Musk wanted to leave a lasting legacy for his children that there's more to life than mere success and material wellbeing?

I highly question this line of reasoning. Musk, the guy who is the ultimate egomaniac and destroyed every marriage relationship he was ever in and lorded it over every female companionship he ever had suddenly plays the caring guy with foresight and insight into how to be a good family role model? Not buying it for one second. His track record is just not compatible with his sudden utterances on the meaningless pursuit for wealth...$$$ is his god and always has been. Only self absorbed people who waste their life on selfish pursuits care about leaving a legacy. They failed to live a life of love and care for others but suddenly pretend to want to leave something behind for others? Does not make any sense. It's more the epitomy and height of selfishness, the desire to garner admiration and respect for myself even beyond my time on earth... That is what leaving a legacy is usually all about. Someone who lived a fruitful life with the intent to make this world a better place for those around oneself have done all the work they could possibly do without the need to leave anything behind.
