Age and behavior could explain those facts, if they are indeed facts. Does not necessarily say anything about vaccine efficacy.
 
And data is dynamic with respect to Covid.

Its apparent to everyone with a brain...
that the protection from vaccines is degrading... at least with respect to the high risk. which is why some are pushing to rush boosters.


a far more useful comparison would be to compare vaccine double dose day..
to covid positive test day...


and even your chart is graphic is misleading or the work of ignorance...
it is statistical accurate... to say 10/15 given those numbers...
its just not a very useful comparison when the ratio of no vax to vax is so lopsided.

Seeing that a comprehensive study over millions of people in Israel showed a breakthrough rate of only 2.6% among the vaccinated -- which, of course, aligns to what we are seeing in the U.S. with over 97% of the cases being unvaccinated. Trying to claim that protection from vaccines is degrading in the face of Delta is not in any way significant enough to alter the statistically realities presented by the chart. Breakthrough cases are not common.
 
so you are claiming there is no reason for boosters because protection is not degrading for the high risk? we are not seeing breakthrough rates increasing?

compare those statistics to ones a month ago, two months ago?

I remember when Lord Fauci and other "experts" were saying when we got to around 70% vaccinated that we would be over the hump and free to live our lives. Well, 70% of America CITIZENS have been vaccinated, not so sure that percentage is good for the illegal horde, so we should be mask free coast to coast. Lockdown and restrictions free coast to coast. We're not. What happened other than the very predictable moving of the goal posts?

The original COVID had a R between 2 and 3. The Delta variant has a R between 5 and 9.

The more infectious the disease the higher the percentage of the population required to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity. The original COVID required a level of 70% vaccinated or so for herd immunity. The Delta variant has a 90% plus level of vaccination required for herd immunity.

This is straight forward math on how herd immunity works in a vaccinated population.
