Did you know that there is an all male club called "The Grove" that meets once a year in Northern California, on a huge estate beside the Russia river . It comprises the richest and most powerful people in the USA. They meet up for a a very secret get togethor and discuss the future of America. It is non democratic and not open.
The club is based on the ancient Druid religion and the ceremonies are very similiar to the Nazi ceremonies of the 1930s, with torchlight parades and symbolic sacrifices to a giant 40 foot owl hidden in the redwood forest.
Absolutely no visitors or journalists are allowed in. The locals are forced into silence and are under threats of intimidation.

It's called Bohemian Grove, and it's hardly some big secret. Kind of a backyard sleepover for 55 year olds. It reminds me a bit of an outdoor St. James club.

It is not really just an ordinary old folks home. Security is total with armed guards and local police arriving within minutes when the 4 reporters were checking out the main gates. The members are not ordinary either. They are the cream of business and politics. When the reporters tried to gain access by canoeing down the river and landing, 2 were captured by security and held for 9 hours .

You probably don't remember DB Cooper who hijacked a plane in the 1970s and parachuted out after collecting a ransom ? Well they think they found out who it was, interesting story. The guy is now dead but his own brother thought he was the culprit.
