Pathetic justifications? How about an argument. It is simply your opinion. That you label someone who differs from you as having "pathetic" opinions reveals your pathology.
Hilarious coming from one who accuses those whose opinions differ from his as being extremist right-wingers and disciples of Hannity and Limbaugh.
If fervor of wanting complete separation of Church and State, and having a purely secular government is extremism, then I will accept that label.
Then stop condeming those who do not share your religious extremism. Condoning the murder and rape of more citizens by released felons as acceptable losses only heightens the perception that you are either a religious fanatic or simply a fanatic.
More speech making. You are free to trust or distrust. I do have an opinion that people who truly have faith in God and eternal life are less stressed about, and attached to material events in life. If a practice of religion doesn't reduce fear, anger, and the need to control the uncontrollable....I want no part of that religion.
More fatalism. Apparently Americans should stand idly by, trusting in the Almighty, while our justice system permits "rehabililtated" felons to prey on our children and fellow citizens. You may be willing to surrender yourself and your family to those that would do us harm, but your beliefs, fortunately, are not binding to the rest of us.
You are free to question that system, why not?
However, it doesn't mean that the answers you come to are necessarily right for others or society as a whole.
Explain then how accepting the slaughter and/or rape of further innocent civilians to released murderers and sex offenders is right for others or society as a whole. If you are able to, explain it without the fatalistic surrender-to-God's-will aspect which is the core of your mentality.
You can illogically conclude whatever you like, that is the pattern I have seen in you to date.
