It seems they are rioting because the fat checks and easy benefits will need to be curtailed.

but if neither gets done and greek defaults how will they even get one red cent if greece is broke?

If greece defaults what happens to all those jobs/benefits etc..?

they get paid in drachmas and then it is followed by hyperinflation
 
To paraphase CNBC. the bastion of broadcast finance, Greek tax collectors are now on strike. But how can a Greek tell they're on strike?
