I can't find it now but I was browsing the weather channel's weather history and found that the year 1900 had record high temperatures all over the US. In the 1920's Scientific American published articles about how the ice floes were melting and the polar bears were in dire straits!!

These envirobastards are always using Bambi's mom to get donations then when a forest catches fire they demand that everybody stand down like when Yellowstone burned..

Exactly! You would think that all these people claiming to be involved in trading in these forums would have some concept of standard deviation and dealing with data sets, and be able to calculate the variation or "dispersion" from the average mean.

Instead they are simply content to post charts with Y-axis improvisions that attempt to show a minor temperature increase of 0.07 degrees C anomaly over the past 10 years as a hockey stick end of the world.

Of course, the left is busy indoctrinating first graders to not use plastic bottles or other such nonsense to "save the planet." The truth is that nothing they or we can possibly do will change any of this.

Yeah, and one would think traders would know you don't base a long term trade on one day of a one minute chart. That's what you numbskulls are doing when looking at only a sixteen year period. Or cherry-picking two points on a chart to represent the kind of trend you want to see.

We will be happy to utilize a long term chart. There are plenty of periods in the history of the earth when the planet was warmer than today. Like the entire period from 14000BC to 6000BC.... you know the people whose villages we find all the time when a glacier melts.

Unfortunately the global warming promoters only want to draw hockey stick graphs showing the last 100 years. It is a wonder that many of these global warming promoters actually understand that the earth existed before Year 1900.

So what if there were warmer periods? There were colder periods also. So what?

If you want to make a daytrade one doesn't use the monthly chart.

And if you want to see the result of CO2 over the last two hundred years you don't use a chart covering millions of years. This a basic stuff that any high school grad knows. But for some reason the deniers don't. We are not interested in what happend in 14000 BC. They were not putting 8 billion tons of CO2 into the air then.

Is this a long enough time period for you?
